Faculty play a crucial role in the success of any university. At OSU we want to help create a warm welcome from the Christian academic community as we present a gift to the newly hired faculty members. We have created a high quality, custom designed coffee mug that is sure to be a conversation starter around the department. It incorporates many aspects of the life of the mind, learning, teaching, the value of being a positive influence on others and tactfully acknowledges what Jesus had to say about knowing the truth. Our desire was to create a product that anyone in the university, regardless religious or philosophical beliefs, would be pleased to receive and use. We think we have achieved this objective in this 15oz mug. We are seeking the help of businesses, individuals and churches to complete this effort. The total project will cost about $4,000. We are seeking additional donations to wrap up this project. (We would like to give you a mug as a thank you for your contribution and help in underwriting this project.) How you can help: ● Pray with us as we enlist the help of faculty and staff around campus to get these into the hands of new faculty in their building, department or college. ● For a business or church who can give to this project ($250-$500 gift) we will give them recognition in our material that will accompany this gift. We anticipate that this gift will go to about 150 OSU professors this year. ● Please join us in praying for open hearts of those who will receive this gift. Along with the mug we intend to give them some Cheryl’s individually wrapped ‘Buckeyes’; a paperback book that will draw attention to the issue of faith and belief; a list of all our Faculty Christian Fellowship activities, group discussions and luncheons, and a list of all the campus student Christian groups. Donation instructions: • In order for us to know of your desire to support this project, please send a brief email to let us know.
